Dan Brown
Dan has been the pastor of Hilton Baptist Church since 2015.
A Western New York native, Pastor Dan grew up in Lockport until his family moved to Newfane while he was in High School. Pastor Dan attended Niagara County Community College and then attended SUNY Fredonia where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in History. After college, he acquired a Master’s of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky.
For several years Pastor Dan lived in Pennsylvania with his wife Karen, until they relocated to Hilton from Allentown. They are the happy owners of two dogs, Tozer and Lincoln.
Pastor Dan’s background is diverse having served as both an Associate Pastor and Pastor in separate churches. He has also served as a Minister of Discipleship, and prior to his ministry in Hilton Pastor Dan was a Youth Pastor. In that role, Pastor Dan led a team of 6 youth leaders and ministered to over 20 teenagers.
Pastor Dan is passionate about his faith and finds great enjoyment in personal study and reflection. His hobbies include playing the guitar, being outdoors with his dogs, watching a hockey game, dabbling in photography or simply reading a good book. He also enjoys spending time with friends or taking a hike with his wife. When he is alone in his truck and no one is listening, he can be found singing along with his favorite musicians which include Neil Diamond and the band Skillet.
